Scintacor, a global leader in phosphor and scintillation technologies, has made its single largest investment in a new, 30,000 sq. ft. world-class manufacturing facility in the heart of Cambridge’s famed northern high-tech cluster.
The new facility, which includes class 10,000 laboratories and an extensive class 1,000 cleanroom environment, also boasts substantial office space and services needed to support the steady growth of the business. Following a period of additional customization, Scintacor’s manufacturing activities will be relocated to the new facility during the first half of 2017. Further details of the relocation plan will be released in due course.
Clare Devlin, Managing Director of Scintacor, said: “I am delighted that our highly skilled and dedicated staff will soon be moving into a new, state of the art facility. This will allow us to expand our capabilities and underpin our broad R&D efforts, allowing us to further support growth of our customers”.
