On Sunday, Jon and several members of the Scintacor team joined thousands of other runners in Cambridge to take part in this year’s Chariots of Fire charity race.

The event is one of Cambridge’s longest-running and best-loved charity races. It follows a unique closed-road relay route through the city centre, winding past historic streets and even taking participants through some of the University’s world-famous colleges. Teams of six runners each cover a 1.7-mile circuit, combining fitness, teamwork, and fundraising in a truly memorable way.

This year’s race once again brought together businesses, organisations, and community groups from across the region, all running in support of important local charities.

Jon and the HRIS team embraced the challenge with great enthusiasm, enjoying the electric atmosphere before the race and the sense of achievement at the finish line. Spirits were high throughout, and even the after photos showed more smiles than fatigue!

Events like Chariots of Fire are a brilliant reminder of how sport and community can come together to make a real difference. We’re proud of our team for getting involved and for playing a small part in supporting the causes that benefit from this event.
